The Research University Alliance (RUA) brings together 9 universities with the shared goal of diversifying the future professoriate. Supported by NSF-AGEP grants, these universities work to provide professional development and networking opportunities for graduate students and current postdocs. Caltech is a member of RUA, along with Georgia Tech, Harvard, Stanford, UC Berkeley, UCLA, University of Michigan, UT Austin, and University of Washington. Postdoc Portal
The Postdoc Portal connects graduate students and postdocs from across the country who are looking for postdoc positions with research groups at RUA institutions. Learn more by visiting the Portal at postdocportal.org.
Research Exchange
The RUA Research Exchange can provide funding for a graduate student or postdoc from Caltech or JPL to visit another RUA institution for up to a week for to learn a new lab technique, build their network and talk about their research. Learn More
